How did you hear about your internship?
My professor recommended this internship to me. I was interested in the opportunity since it would allow me to practice my Spanish in a professional environment.
What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?
The most valuable part of my internship was working directly with the children. I also made new friends during the internship, which made the experience even more meaningful. Working at La Alianza encouraged me to use Spanish more often and helped me become more confident!
How will this help you in the future?
This internship will help me in the future by improving my Spanish communication skills and giving me experience working in a Spanish environment. It taught me the importance of confidence, teamwork, and clear communication when working with children. Since I am majoring in Spanish and completing a translation certificate, this will prepare me for future careers where I'll communicate and support Spanish speaking families.
