Conference on the Americas

The 23rd annual Conference on the Americas is going to be held on February 21-22, 2020 at the University of North Georgia (UNG) on the Gainesville Campus in the Martha T. Nesbitt Building

About the Conference

The Americas Council provides an annual conference for presenters and participants to explore critical socio-cultural, political, economic, environmental, global, regional and national issues including the challenges and opportunities facing Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada.

While the focus of this conference is primarily for university/college faculty members, we encourage graduate and undergraduate students to showcase their research on the Americas. Topics and categories for presentations are contained in our call for papers (PDF). Students can also enter a completed paper in the student paper competition (PDF).

The conference is sponsored by The Americas Council, University System of Georgia (USG) and hosted by UNG represented by the College of Arts and Letters and the Mike Cottrell College of Business.

We invite you to attend and or participate in this upcoming conference!
