Conference on the Americas
The 25th Annual Conference on the Americas will be a virtual conference to be held on February 18-19, 2022 and hosted by the University of North Georgia.
About the Conference
The Americas Council provides an annual conference for presenters and participants to explore critical socio-cultural, political, economic, environmental, global, regional and national issues including the challenges and opportunities facing Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada.
While the focus of this conference is primarily for university/college faculty members, we encourage graduate and undergraduate students to showcase their research on the Americas.
Keynote Address to be delivered by Prof. Enrique Pumar, Fay Boyle University Professor and Chair, Department of Sociology, Santa Clara University; Chair, Sociology of Development Section, American Sociological Association (ASA); Member, International Advisory Board, Global Journal of Political and Social Research; faculty member, Latinx Education Research Center, Santa Clara University.
