    Criminal Justice (B.S.)

If you have a goal of being a police officer or criminal justice professional, the Bachelor of Science with a major in criminal justice will assist in building a foundation for the career. Interests in research, investigation, problem solving, and the ability to be poised under pressure are key characteristics to being successful in the program.

The Criminal Justice Major will prepare you for a variety of criminal justice positions. The program provides a foundation in police, courts, and corrections. The various criminal justice classes will address improving attention to detail, critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and to communicate clearly, both written and orally. Courses may include in-depth investigations in policing, courts, corrections, or forensics.
