    Nigel Cares Video Transcript

Dr. Jim Conneely: I'd like to welcome all of our students back to our campus for spring 2021. I do realize that last semester was difficult for many of you all in adjusting to the virtual instructions and virtual engagement through UNG.

Dr. Michelle Brown: But we want you to know that you're not alone and the University of North Georgia is here to support you.

Dr. Alyson Paul: We know that students have struggled and faced challenges through the COVID crisis, and we wanted you to know that we hear you and we're trying to provide some additional support.

Dr. Simon Cordery: We're very excited to announce the expansion of our mental health services and programs with the addition of Nigel Cares. In addition to the services and programs already offered by Student Counseling, Nigel Cares will provide new services designed to meet and support you where you're at on your mental health journey.

Dr. Kel Lee Cutrell: Some of the changes that you will see include the addition of a 24/7 point of contact for mental health services.

Lauren Howard: To learn more information about Nigel Cares, visit Student Counseling's updated website that includes the Wellness Hub.

Dr. Chaudron Gille: We are excited to provide these new services for students, and we're looking forward to a great semester.

Dr. Carol Adams: We know that you have a lot to take care of, so let us take care of you.
