Tutoring Services on the Dahlonega Campus is primarily located in the Tutoring Center housed in the Library Technology Center (LTC). We have professional and peer tutors to help with mathematics, chemistry, computer science, physics and biology, and writing. Online Tutoring Services also provides online sessions for these subjects and more.
There are also peer tutors provided by the Department of Mathematics available in Dunlap Hall at the Newton Oakes Center. These sessions will cover general mathematics as well as specialized mathematics: statistics, Precalculus, and calculus I, II, & III.
Most of UNG’s Writing Centers are run by Tutoring Services but the Dahlonega Writing Center is operated by the Department of English and staffed by peer tutors.
Students can drop by for in-person sessions. Repeat visits are strongly encouraged so that we can assist in developing your academic needs.

The Tutoring Center, located in the Library Technology Center, room 110 offers professional and peer tutors help students with mathematics, chemistry, computer science, physics, and biology courses.
Students may drop-in during operating hours or may also get help scheduling through Online Tutoring Services.
The Department of Mathematics offers peer tutors to assist students in all UNG mathematics courses but specialize in statistics, precalculus, and calculus I, II & III.
Tutoring is first-come, first-served with operating hours generally beginning the second week of class.
The writing center on the Dahlonega campus is operated by the Department of English and staffed by peer tutors.
Meet with peer tutors in-person as informal, one-on-one tutoring sessions focused on your writing. Sessions last half an hour, during which you can brainstorm ideas, construct or improve a thesis, learn to use sources correctly, and review grammar errors and review correction strategies.
