Access Controlled Buildings have doors that are controlled by electronic locks and any afterhours events that require a change to the door schedule need to be requested no less than 1 business day ahead of event.
Access Controlled buildings in Dahlonega are primarily managed by UNG Cards Services. Requests for changes to the regularly scheduled building hours must be submitted via email no less than 1 business day in advanced and should be submitted to the main Card Service email:card-dah@ung.edu(For any Traditional Key lock building or doors request should be submitted through EMS for Public Safety to open).

Open and Closing Times
Indicate if it will be a singular event, a reoccurring event or permanent change. Permanent Building Schedule changes must come from the department head or their pre-assigned designee. Events requests will be submitted to building/area manager for approval after the request is received.
With the exception of emergencies, requests submitted after business hours Friday will not be fulfilled until the following Monday. For Holidays or Unscheduled Closings( ie: Inclement Weather): Card Services Dahlonega will manage all access controlled building for Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, and Cumming.
