Attending orientation? Photos must be submitted three days prior to your orientation date.
You will be notified via email within two business days if your photo was accepted or rejected.
Step One: Be sure your photo meets the guidelines.
Step Two: Log in to your Transact account using your UNG credentials. (Do not add the @ung.edu to your username.)
Step Three: Select "profile" from your account main screen.
Step Four: Choose "Submit a New Photo."
Step Five: Choose either the .JPG or .PNG file format and upload your photo.
Step Six: Review your photo to make sure it meets the guidelines and choose "Submit & Sign Out."
I will attend orientation -This year we are not giving cards out at orientation. Residents students who submitted a photo online before August 6 will pick their card up at their dorm on move-in. Commuters may come to card services at any time to pick up their card.
I will not attend orientation - Your ID can be requested at any Card Services location. You will need to bring a Photo ID to pick up your Nighthawks Card. There may be a charge for a replacement ID card of $25.00.
I am a Blue Ridge student - After you have received the approval email that the photo was accepted you must contact Dahlonega Card Services via email and request your Nighthawks card be printed and mailed to the Blue Ridge campus. Inter-campus mail is only delivered once a week. Please plan accordingly. Dahlonega Card Services will respond to the request to let you know when your card has been mailed and the estimated arrival date to the Blue Ridge campus.
Pick up your card from the Blue Ridge Campus Information Desk, you will need to sign a Nighthawks Card Agreement and bring a school, state, or federal photo ID for verification. There may be $25.00 fee if it is a replacement card.

*Photos that are inappropriate will be reviewed by the Dean of Students. University of North Georgia Card Services reserves the right to refuse any photos that do not meet these requirements. Failure to adhere to photo submission guidelines is subject to appropriate University action as deemed necessary.
