Secondary Education Major with a Physics Concentration (B.S.)

In addition to our undergraduate program, there are alternate routes to physics secondary education certification at the University of North Georgia (UNG). The Post-Baccalaureate Initial Teacher Certification program allows those with an undergraduate degree to earn their initial teacher certification and the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is designed for individuals who possess degrees in majors other than education and wish to become initially certified in teaching fields comparable to their undergraduate degrees. (The MAT certification with a concentration in Secondary Education – Biology is not available at UNG).
