Theatre Arts (B.F.A.)

Offering concentrations in Acting, Design, or Technology, the B.F.A. in Theatre Arts allows students to design their plan of study, focused on both film and theatre. This versatile program provides students with unique opportunities to dive deep into vigorous classroom work and apply their skills in our mainstage productions.

Acting Concentration

Acting students follow a rigorous acting study for both stage and screen, integrating voice, movement, and both contemporary and classical acting styles. You'll dive deep into robust classroom work, preparing you for lifelong careers as working actors in today's industry.

Design Concentration

Design students immerse themselves in both theatrical and film production design techniques in the areas of scenic, costume, sound, and lighting design. You'll work on professionally-produced productions and collaborate with directors and other designers to bring concepts to reality.

Technology Concentration

Technology students master the technical art of theatre and film by gaining in-depth knowledge of stagecraft, electrics, stage management, and technical direction. You'll operate industry-standard equipment and software and play a crucial role in theatrical productions and film projects.
