Overview
Dr. Preston has been teaching at UNG's Dahlonega Campus since 2005. Prior to coming to UNG, Dr. Preston taught at Gainesville College from 1991 to 2005. He was born and raised in Birmingham, AL.

Work Experience
Prior to his career as a college professor, Dr. Preston worked as an exercise physiologist (fitness testing and exercise prescription) and strength coach. He spent two years in Saudi Arabia serving as a strength coach for the Saudi Air Force. He then served as an exercise physiologist and personal trainer in Birmingham, AL and Jackson, MS before beginning his career as a college professor.
