Recommending a Purchase 

To recommend the purchase of a book or journal subscription for the UNG Libraries’ collection:

  1. Contact the Librarian/Selector responsible for your subject area; or,
  2. Complete the UNG Libraries Suggest a Purchase  form. Complete a separate request for each recommended item.

Recommended items may not be purchased automatically. Please indicate whether the item supports a specific course, if applicable.

Films: UNG Libraries offers access to streaming content through Kanopy  and Academic Video Online. Requests for Kanopy content must support course curriculum and must not be available through other UNG streaming platforms or formats. Kanopy provides a separate online suggestion form through their website.

  • Item price, available funds, and budget cycle
  • Item availability
  • Similar items already held in the library
