Department of Physics & Astronomy
Change the World with Physics and Astronomy!
If you have a passion for understanding how things work and enjoy scientific experiments and mathematics, then you should study physics.
Physics is the most fundamental of the basic sciences. It deals with understanding how the universe works and spans from objects smaller than an atomic nucleus to the edges of the universe. It has direct application in fields including geology, life science, engineering, medicine and more. Physics is ideal for those pursuing study in engineering, professional schools, medicine, and many other fields.
