Debate, Forensics, Interpretation Team
The purpose of the University of North Georgia (UNG) Debate, Forensics, Interpretation Team is to provide UNG students with the opportunity to participate in both on-campus audience debates and, when feasible, intercollegiate debate and public speaking competitions. The benefits of these activities include improved marks in school, improved research skills, improved communication skills, and improved critical thinking skills. The mission of this club is to serve as many UNG students as possible through exposure to a diversity of debate, public speaking, and performance opportunities, both as observers and as participants.

Student Film Association
The mission of the Student Film Association (SFA) is to promote enjoyment of film as an art form and to offer an environment in which film fans and film makers can interact and pursue their interests together. The SFA hosts weekly film viewings and produces student film productions.

The Communication, Media & Journalism department supports a student news organization, The Vanguard, with an outstanding record of achievement. The Vanguard is multi-platform and operates on three UNG campuses, covering all of northeast Georgia and beyond.

Vanguard Radio
Vanguard Radio is UNG's student-produced internet radio station, featuring a variety of musical formats and student personalities. A student-led podcast service also provides content.

The goals of Lambda Pi Eta include: Stimulating interesting in the field of Communication, Promoting professional development among Communication majors and Recognizing outstanding scholastic achievement in Communication Studies.

By joining the PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) club, PRSSA can help to connect you to a network of peers and professionals who will become lifelong friends and mentors. We can facilitate the development of valuable relationships with future colleagues through PRSSA National and regional events, PRSSA Chapters and social media. We also provide the opportunity to meet current professionals through your PRSA sponsor Chapter, the Champions for PRSSA or by searching the PRSA member directory.
