Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice Program offers a broad-based, social science curriculum reflecting the academic emphasis of the discipline and focusing on the complexities of human behavior. The program seeks to develop leaders in the field who are able to integrate and augment the knowledge of the discipline.
Students in the associate of science program are provided a strong foundational knowledge of the criminal justice system. Those pursuing the Bachelor of Science degree are also provided a foundational exposure to all important aspects of the discipline prior to selecting major elective courses that will permit them to specialize in a specific field of the criminal justice discipline. Courses may include in-depth investigations in policing, courts, corrections, or forensics. All students seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice participate in an internship experience.
