    Law Enforcement Specialized Training

The Department of Criminal Justice's Public Safety Academy (PSA) strives to offer Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (P.O.S.T.) specialized training to as many Law Enforcement Agencies across the State of Georgia. These training courses are only available to P.O.S.T. certified individuals who are represented by a Georgia Law Enforcement Agency.

Note: Some fees may apply based on course needs and venue. In cases where there is not a fee to cover materials, we recommend a donation of $50 for each registered student. Donations directly benefit the academy and academy students. If you decide not to make a donation, this decision will not have any impact on a student’s registration. Make a donation on our UNG Foundations PSA page.

Please view the 2023 Training Calendar (PDF) for all offered courses, dates, and locations. Once you have found the course(s) you would like to attend, sign up and register!
