Jack Howery, III

Jack Howery III joined the Center for Global Engagement in January 2026 as the International Student Services Coordinator. Originally from Virginia, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise, completing two semester-long study abroad experiences in France and Chile. After receiving the Deutschlandstipendium, a scholarship from the German government, Jack pursued a dual-degree master’s program, earning an M.S. in International Business Administration in Germany and an M.A. in International Relations in Italy. He also completed postgraduate studies in Poland, where he taught English to international students.

Having studied in six countries, Jack brings a strong global perspective shaped by immersive academic and cultural experiences. He is passionate about supporting international students, fostering intercultural understanding, and contributing to a welcoming and inclusive campus environment. In his free time, Jack enjoys traveling, video games, hiking, and roller skating.
