International Student & Scholar Services

The University of North Georgia (UNG) is an institution whose students, faculty, staff, and graduates understand cultural differences, collaborate across cultures, and value international engagement. UNG warmly welcomes international students and visitors, offering 80+academic majors to choose from across 4 campuses in the North Georgia region.

International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) is part of the Center for Global Engagement. We do not process admissions applications but rather help serve as a resource once you are accepted and planning to attend UNG. We issue visa-related documents, coordinate off campus excursions, ensure students maintain F-1 or J-1 visa status compliance, facilitate programming for the Global Learning Community (GLC), and provide information to serve international students, visiting scholars, faculty, and their families at the University of North Georgia.
