International Student Orientation
We are so excited that you've chosen to attend University of North Georgia (UNG), and our goal is to help make your experience here a wonderful one! International Student Orientation (ISO) is mandatory. If you are not able to attend, you must contact your international student advisor and make an appointment to meet as soon as possible.
Regardless of your campus, there are a few things that are applicable to all UNG international students.
What to Bring
- Your passport
- Your visa
- Your current I-20 or DS-2019
- A copy of your I-94
Before Orientation
- Review the International Student Handbook (PDF)
- After arriving in the United States, complete the International Student Onboarding modules in the International Student Portal before you attend the mandatory in-person Orientation. (Log in using your UNG username and password.) You will be prompted to upload a scanned file or picture of your passport, visa, signed I-20 Form, and most recent I-94.

Dahlonega Campus Airport Transportation
Each semester the Center for Global Engagement provides airport shuttle transportation from the Atlanta airport to the Dahlonega UNG campus.

International Student Orientation (ISO) Information
All international students should complete the UNG online pre-orientation modules. You will also be required to attend an in-person orientation specifically for international students. You will receive email communications regarding the date/time of your orientation specific to your campus.
