Note: You must be a UNG international student or scholar to use this service and it is open to both new and returning international students and scholars. The dates below are the only dates that the shuttle will be available. Returning students needing to utilize the shuttle will be expected to arrive and move-in early.

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact the Center for Global Engagement.

    Spring Drop-Off:

The CGE will offer transportation on the weekend after finals for spring semester 2023. Shuttles will leave the UNG Dahlonega campus on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (1500 hours).

Reserve your spot now! (login required)

    Spring Pick-Up:

The CGE will offer start-of-the-semester transportation for the Spring 2023 semester on Thursday, January 5, 2023. The shuttle will leave the Atlanta airport at 11:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (1700 hours). If students cannot arrange a flight to arrive prior to 5:00 p.m. (1700 hours) on that day, they should arrive on the day before and make arrangements to stay in a hotel or at the airport until the first shuttle pick-up on the shuttle morning.  Please allow two hours to clear customs and immigration if you are arriving in Atlanta direct from your home country.  (You are not landing elsewhere in the US before connecting to Atlanta.)

Reserve your spot now! (login required)

    Important Notes

    • Airport shuttles are only to/from the ATL airport to/from the Dahlonega campus of UNG.
    • The CGE reserves the right to reschedule your selected drop-off time to another shuttle that works with your flight time in order to maximize use of transportation.
    • Please note that there is no public transportation to Dahlonega. Unless you have a host family or some other prior arrangement, you will need to use the shuttle services provided by the CGE. There is not a train or a bus that goes from Atlanta to Dahlonega.
