    Overview

    Prior to joining the University of North Georgia in June, 2018, Sheila worked for NAFSA where her portfolio included education abroad, international enrollment management, international student and scholar services, regional affairs and training.  Previously, Sheila worked as a campus-based international education professional at Georgia Tech, Emory University and the University of Idaho. Her passions, which bridge both her personal and professional life, include intercultural communication, literacy issues, anthropology and travel.

    She has a B.A. and an M.A. in anthropology from the University of Iowa.
