An alumnus of the University of North Georgia, Mrs. Jenica Alvarez completed her undergraduate studies in exercise science and was a member of the women’s basketball team. She continued her education at the University of Georgia where she earned her master of science degree in exercise physiology. During her studies at the University of Georgia, Mrs. Alvarez served as a graduate assistant where her focus was clinical exercise testing and teaching laboratory courses for the Kinesiology department.

Mrs. Jenica Alvarez began her teaching career at the University of North Georgia in 2010. She has served in the kinesiology department teaching a variety of courses and serving as an academic advisor for exercise science students. Mrs. Alvarez also serves as the academic advisor for Medical Campus Outreach (MCO). Mrs. Alvarez resides in Cumming, Ga with her husband and three children.
