Overview

Clark Jones is a lecturer for Introduction to Business and Business Communication within the Mike Cottrell College of Business and has taught courses in Marketing Research and Advertising. In addition to his role in MCCB, Clark is an assistant coach for the UNG Rowing Team and is active as a volunteer-consultant at Atlanta Mission where he is involved in various development and planned giving initiatives.

Prior to joining UNG, Clark worked in the field of marketing research for over 30 years. He has directed teams and managed projects across a broad range of areas including consumer/cultural trends, innovation, concept development, product development, consumer promotion, advertising and media, shopper/guest insights, and retail/foodservice channel research. Clark’s career includes 22 years with The Coca-Cola Company in the US and international markets (Austria, Italy) and six years with full-service research agencies including Lieberman Research Worldwide.

Clark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from The University of California Santa Barbara and an MBA from Creighton University. He has also served as a board member and lecturer for The University of Georgia’s Masters of Marketing Research Program.
