Le Belle Voci (LBV), the University of North Georgia's (UNG's) select women's ensemble, was founded by Dr. Broman in fall 2001 and was invited to perform at the 2006 and 2016 Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) In Service Conferences in Savannah and Athens respectively. Georgia composer Rick Bartlett had this to say about the choir's most recent presentation at GMEA: "I just wanted once again to thank you for embracing my music and the stunning performance of the premiere of the women's version of Breathe On Me, Day. Both works were beautifully presented with great balance and harmony. I couldn't have asked for a better performance of either. Your small group pulled out all the stops for a 'big group sound' for your entire program and did a fantastic job! Mary Beth (Hutcheson) did a wonderful job on the challenging accompaniment in to find a song.... God was watching for sure with a huge smile." Le Belle Voci has just recently been invited to perform during the Georgia Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association fall symposium October 22, 2021 in Spivey Hall on the campus of Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia.
The choir is open to any female through a rigorous audition process (the ability to sight-read is a must) and is offered for one hour of college credit. Previous singing experience is expected. This group rehearses twice a week and specializes in performing women's music spanning a wide variety of musical genres. The choir typically numbers between 15 and 25 and tours with the UNG Singers on odd-numbered years, visiting the United Kingdom once every four years.
