Junior Recital: Sofia Perez, voice

Join us on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Convocation Center in Dahlonega to experience real music classes, sit in on ensemble rehearsals, and talk with current UNG music majors about their journeys. You'll walk the campus, meet faculty and students, and get an inside look at what it's like to study music at UNG.

Registration is required.

On October 13, Blanche La Fuente, a drummer from France who is now an artist-in-residence at Villa Albertine, The French Institute for Culture and Education (https://villa-albertine.org/), agreed to deliver s performance - Drumming, Encountering, and Imagining. Her 60- to 90-minute interactive performance will include some drumming, sharing thoughts about musical expression, reflecting on the artists role in society, and time for questions and a participatory activity.

UNG Department of Music students present a noon-hour recital.

The All-State Chorus Clinic offers attending students an opportunity to participate in master classes with members of the UNG Voice Faculty to prepare the vocal solo for
All-State Chorus auditions.

In addition, there will be a sight-reading workshop and an opportunity to participate in mock sight-reading auditions.

The event is free, however registration is required.
