The University of North Georgia Patriot Choir, under the direction of Dr. John M. Broman, is comprised of Cadets from our nationally-known Military Department. Entrance to the choir is by audition and is offered for one hour of college credit.
The group rehearses twice a week and is the most active performing ensemble in the Music Department. Patriot Choir is in high demand each semester and is routinely asked to perform for military events, social gatherings, athletic contests (university and professional), school functions (elementary, middle, and high school), university and alumni occasions, in addition to presenting concerts on campus.
Repertoire includes patriotic music, love songs, spirituals, and other types of sacred and secular music.
