University Chorale
The University of North Georgia Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Lauren Ringwall, is the primary mixed vocal ensemble at the University of North Georgia (UNG) Gainesville Campus.
The ensemble ranges from 40 – 60 members each semester and sings a wide variety of repertoire from large chorale master works to shorter octavos from a variety of time periods and cultural backgrounds.
The Chorale performs on the various campuses of UNG as well as throughout the North Georgia community and region. The Chorale is open to all students, resulting in a membership that is both diverse in major fields and musical backgrounds but united with the purpose of making music for the enjoyment of themselves and others.
Entrance into the Chorale is by audition and it is offered for one-credit-hour or as a university club.
