Overview
Gabe Fankhauser joined the faculty at the University of North Georgia in 2014, after teaching and coordinating music theory and aural skills at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC for many years. He regularly presents research at national and international conferences. In addition to a published textbook on form and analysis, he has articles published in academic journals, including Intégral, Journal of Music Theory Pedagogy, Music Theory Online, and Music Analysis. In 2020, he was honored to receive the UNG Teaching Excellence Award.
