    Office of Sponsored Programs

    The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is the designated pre-award and post-award administration office for the University of North Georgia and supports the campus community’s externally funded research, service, creative activities, and outreach initiatives. OSP advances the excellence of research and scholarship across all campuses by assisting in proposal development and providing crucial services in grants and contracts management and compliance.

    Chemistry department awarded $30K grant

    UNG's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry received a $30,000 grant to fund open access materials for undergraduate courses.

    NSA expands contract for compliance curriculum

    The NSA has provided additional funding for its contract supporting UNG's creation and marketing of graduate and undergraduate certificates in compliance and ethics, including a total of 100 tuition waivers.

    The McNair Scholars Program at UNG has received a second five-year grant of $1.3 million from the U.S. Department of Education to prepare students for graduate school.

    This fall marked a five-year renewal of UNG's Upward Bound grant and a San Francisco trip to help high school students learn more about colleges.

    The UNG RISE Giving Campaign runs from Oct. 1-30 and aims to raise $100,000 for 20 scholarship funds.
