Scholarships are awarded to students based on talent, commitment and academic performance. GTA has an annual calendar of scholarship audition/portfolio events that enable prospective students to be our guests for a production and participate in other campus open house activities. Students auditioning for scholarships should be in the process of applying to the University of North Georgia and must be declared theatre majors.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Technology candidates should bring in a resume and portfolio that demonstrates some preparation in technical and design areas.

Benefits & Logistics of a Two School Program

We know you may have many questions about the logistics and benefits of our unique collaboration between two different schools, and we are happy to meet with you to discuss all questions. The best way to gain an understanding of the program is to attend a GTA scholarship audition event, where you will see our work, have the chance to meet current students, and discuss any questions with the faculty and staff.
