The University of North Georgia's (UNG) Mike Cottrell College of Business (MCCB) is the fourth-largest business school in the state of Georgia. A July article in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, "Area's 10 Largest Business Schools," provided statistics on each school.

UNG has 4,373 students in the MCCB, according to the list, and has the second-lowest tuition among the top five schools.

"As the Mike Cottrell College of Business continues to become more and more competitive with the top business schools in the state, we are also continuing to attract more students to our programs," Dr. Mary Gowan, MCCB dean, said. "This ranking is a testament to our growing reputation as a business college that prepares students for creating value for their future employers."

The MCCB offers Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in management, finance, marketing, accounting, and information systems, as well as Bachelor of Science degrees in computer science and cybersecurity and a Bachelor of Applied Science in technology management, plus associate degree pathways in business administration and computer science. At the graduate level, the college has the Cottrell Master of Business Administration, a Master of Accountancy, a Master of Science in computer science, and multiple certificates.
