Overview
Charlene Hudson earned an A.A. in History at Gainesville College, B.S. in Political Science at North Georgia College and an M.P.A. degree at North Georgia College & State University, now known as the University of North Georgia (UNG). She has been employed at UNG since 1992 and has experienced many different roles within the university system.
Before entering her career of teaching, Ms. Hudson began her time with North Georgia College helping to develop the Graduate Department of Physical Therapy. She spent several years as an admissions advisor to the graduate program before becoming the special projects manager and grant writer for the Department of Physical Therapy. She has been a consultant on multiple community service projects and grant writing for the past 25 years at the local, state, national and international level.
Ms. Hudson spends her time teaching, researching, and mentoring students. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her son; they are often found at the karate dojo or volunteering with many community service projects in our area.
