Overview

Marie J. Goodall (formerly Albo) is a senior lecturer in the UNG Department of Political Science & International Affairs.  She currently teaches courses in “American Government,” “Introduction to Political Science,” and “Introduction to Social Science Research Methods” on the Cumming and Dahlonega campuses as well as online. 

Ms. Goodall has received several university teaching awards including the “Teaching Excellence” award (for non-tenured faculty) in 2015 and the “Teaching Excellence Award for Online Teaching” in 2017. She currently serves as a “faculty liaison” within the department of Distance Education & Technology Integration (DETI) and advises students in the UNG online program. Prior to joining the UNG faculty in 2008, Ms. Goodall was part of a boutique commercial real-estate development firm, specializing in planning, zoning, and land use. She continues to advise local governments on issues of annexation and economic development.
