Ready to Register for Summer, Fall Classes at UNG Video Transcript

Hey Nighthawks this is Becca Spearman with the Registrar's office at the University of North Georgia.

We know that these are unusual times, but we don't want you to lose motivation moving forward to finish off this term. Now is the time to realize that you have it within you to push through and see the finish line for the journey you started this semester.

Know that you have the potential to make connections in different ways, and that those connections can help you finish strong. The faculty and staff may not physically be in their offices right now. They're here to help you, and here in the registrar's office, we're here to help you too.

Here are four things we want you to remember moving forward.

Number one, make sure to check your account for any holds that need to be taken care of prior to registration.

Number two, registration is currently open for summer semester, and in the upcoming weeks fall semester is opening up for current students. Make sure you have a game plan of what you plan to register for. If you're not sure what classes you should register for, make an appointment to virtually meet with your academic advisor.

Number three, check your DegreeWorks audit through your banner account. This tool will be a guide to just help you see what you have left to fulfill in your requirements at UNG.

Number four, follow the Registrar's Office on social media. We're active on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. We're happy to give you updates pertaining to dates and deadlines and things happening around the institution that you need to know about. We want you to remember that success lies ahead for you, and we're so happy to be on that journey with you.

If you have any questions, make sure to reach out to us via email.

    Take flight Nighthawks!
