    Alison Burnette, M.F.A.

    Overview

    Alison Burnette is a sculptor and ceramic artist. She earned her M.F.A. from Western Carolina University where she also taught Introduction to Ceramics. Burnette is knowledgeable in low, medium, and high fired ceramic clays and glazes. She is experienced in slip casting, hand building, and throwing as well Raku firing as well as electric, gas, and wood kilns. She joined the UNG Visual Arts faculty in 2018, teaching three-dimensional design and, more recently, ceramics.
