Overview

Larry started his theatre artist’s journey as an actor but after performing in over 30 different productions chose to work backstage.  He has worked extensively in film, television and theatre production.  He has provided scenic and lighting designs for over 40 productions- many for the Gainesville Theatre Alliance, but also the Highlands Playhouse, the University Theatre (UGA), the Georgia Repertory Theatre, WonderQuest, and others.  Larry spearheaded planning efforts for GTA’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Technology for Theatre degree. He also has extensive experience in the construction  trades and  is OSHA ten-hour certified in safety by Associated General Contractors.  Larry lives in Gainesville with his wife Emilie (who teaches Yoga) and their three daughters.  My hobbies are numerous and mostly center on the outdoors.
