Overview
Dr. Toluwani C. Oloke is an Associate Professor of Communication at the University of North Georgia, where her research and teaching bridge strategic communication, global public relations, and health communication. With more than a decade of experience across practice, scholarship, and the classroom, she studies how strategic messages travel across cultures and how public relations can serve public health, equity, and cultural understanding.
Her perspective is grounded in frontline work, including her role as a Public Information Officer with the African Union Commission during the West African Ebola response. A Fellow of the African Public Relations Association and co-editor of Strategic Communication Management in Africa (Palgrave Macmillan, 2026), she is committed to advancing strategic communication and preparing the next generation of communicators.
