Help Every Student Cross the Finish Line

Early support changes outcomes. The UNG Academic Alert Program empowers faculty and staff to spot academic hurdles early and connect students with the personalized guidance, campus resources, and intervention they need before challenges become roadblocks.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit an Academic Alert when they notice a student experiencing:

• Excessive absences
• Low participation or fading engagement
• Missed deadlines and assignments
• Noticeable drops in grades or test performance
• Persistent struggles with course content or online platforms

Once a referral is submitted, the student is connected with individualized support to better understand what they are experiencing, identify what they need, and connect them with campus resources that can help them refocus, re-engage, and move forward successfully.
