    Office of the Dean of Students

    The Office of the Dean of Students advocates for and supports students as they pursue their goals at UNG. The Deans of Students can connect students to resources on campus to address their needs and interests.

    Common ways the Office of the Dean of Students can help:

    • Provide guidance and interventions for students and families during personal emergencies or difficult circumstances
    • Provide consultation to faculty and staff regarding student issues or concerns
    • Respond to general student issues and concerns and advocate for students
    • Coordinate and lead the Behavior Intervention Team
    • Encourage students, faculty, and staff to recognize the importance of wellness as it effects student success
    • Coordinate initiatives and efforts to support student success
