Nighthawks Together
As we bring our students back to our campuses to engage in the full higher education experience, UNG continues to prioritize the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff.
While the look of some of our classrooms, programs and services have changed, our faculty and staff commitment to student success remains steadfast. We're all in this together.

Students, faculty, staff, and visitors are strongly encouraged to follow the best practices recommended by state public health officials and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. We hope that everyone will do their part to keep our campus communities safe by following recommended guidelines.
Due to the fluidity of the COVID-19 pandemic, plans are subject to change, and UNG has developed contingency plans should it be necessary to shift back to remote delivery of instruction at any point during the semester.
COVID-19 Training
We have developed specific trainings for supervisors, employees and students to complete. This training is required for all members of the UNG community.
The training includes proper sanitation, hygiene and social distancing practices. When employees and students complete the training, they will be asked to acknowledge the completion of the training and to commit to adhering to all safety protocols.

Guidance & Plans
UNG's plans follow guidance from the University System of Georgia (USG), the Governor's COVID- 19 Task Force, the Georgia Department of Public Health (GDPH), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to make public health-informed decisions affecting the status of its campuses.
The COVID-19 situation is fluid, and guidance will very likely change over time.
