Note: use the catalog year of the first semester you enroll at UNG. Catalog years assume a Fall semester start. If your first semester at UNG was a Spring or a Summer semester, your catalog year is the previous year.
For example, if your first semester at UNG was Spring 2020, you should follow the 2019-2020 catalog.
It is very important to review your plan of study and what courses you have completed in Degree Works.
We also highly recommend reviewing information for the visual arts area you are focusing in.
Review the UNG Course Schedule to find out what courses are being offered, as well as the course modality, course meeting days and times, and the name of the instructor teaching the course.
Remember that a course load of 12 semester hours is classified as full-time and is required to be eligible for the hope and Zell Miller Scholarship, and for financial aid.
During Fall and Spring semesters, a normal load is 15 to 18 semester hours.
