The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (CTLL) supports the University of North Georgia’s commitment to “academic excellence in a student-focused environment.” Through our programs and outreach, CTLL seeks to foster our community of scholar teachers as they pursue research-based design and implementation of significant educational experiences.

  • FRAME: Teaching with Library Resources

    November 11 (Monday)
    Noon - 1:00 p.m.

    We strongly encourage all full-time and part-time faculty at UNG to participate in the FRAME program, a series of six workshops across the full academic year offered online via Zoom. There will be about 15 minutes of open socializing time before and after each session.

  • EPX: Bringing History to Life: Dynamic Classroom Techniques and Innovative Modalities

    November 13 (Wednesday)
    Noon - 1:00 p.m.

    This session will discuss dynamic classroom techniques and innovative modalities that bring history to life for students, helping them forge a deep emotional connection with the past. Using primary documents, interactive platforms like TopHat and PackBack, and a comprehensive History Portfolio assignment, this workshop will demonstrate how to transform history from a subject of study into an engaging, immersive experience.

  • A Leadership Conversation with Dr. Jamie Mitchem

    November 15 (Friday)
    Noon - 1:00 p.m.

    This workshop series will focus on gaining leadership insights from proven leaders. Each session will begin with a UNG or USG leader sharing their leadership journey and lessons learned. After each presentation, an open discussion about leadership will follow. These interactive workshops are open to faculty at all levels and academic administration.
