Teaching Resources

Teaching is the core of what we do here at the University of North Georgia. The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Leadership aims to support faculty with the latest research-based teaching resources and materials. Teaching is a scholarly endeavor, and pedagogical practices, whether new or traditional, must be undergirded by sound research that demonstrates their efficacy.

On this page, you will find numerous resources and materials that are grounded in the latest research. We hope that you will use these resources to:

  • fine-tune your existing practices
  • explore new approaches
  • begin your own contribution to the scholarship of teaching and learning

The materials on this page range from broader pedagogical concepts (e.g., engagement, diversity, etc.) to the “nuts and bolts” of practice (e.g., course design, the syllabus, the first day of class).
