The 4th Annual University of North Georgia International Cadet Week (ICW) provides international cadets with immersive exposure to the U.S., military, and senior military college cultures. More importantly, ICW fosters and incubates te relationships between international and UNG cadets that will benefit them in the future as they connect with each other later in their careers.
Cadets will live on the UNG campus, attend classes with our Corps of Cadets, visit the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence at Fort Benning, Georgia, as well as other cultural experiences in Atlanta and the surrounding region. Cadets are provided lodging and meals while attending ICW. Cadets should bring spending money for their own use during cultural excursions.
Schedule may be subject to change
International Cadets participating in ICW will also participate in the "Soldiers-Learders in the Age of AI: The Future of Pre-Commisioning Education" Symposium. The symposium will contribute to the scholarly discussion of this multifaceted issue.
As participants, cadets are invited to submit abstracts for papers, posters on topics related to the theme. Find more information on the abstract and poster section.
Cadets are also invited to submit a story for the Science Fiction contest which has cash prizes. Find more information on the Science Fiction contest section.
