AlcoholEdu & Sexual Assault Prevention

All students who are enrolled in their first semester at UNG or have otherwise not taken the courses. This includes freshmen, graduates, transfer, and dual-enrolled students.

AlcoholEdu will take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.

The Sexual Assault Prevention course will take approximately 1.25 hours to complete.

All survey responses are confidential; UNG will only receive information about the student body as a whole and never your individual answers as a student.

The AlcoholEdu course will include surveys about your personal health behaviors to help personalize your experience and measure students' alcohol-related attitudes and behaviors.

• Complete Part 1 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU ASAP!
• After you have completed Part 1 of BOTH AlcoholEdu and SAPU, the hold will automatically be removed the following day.
• After 30 days you will receive an invitation to complete Part 2 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU which must be completed promptly to avoid further holds.

• You will need Internet access and audio capabilities. Use a laptop or desktop, not a mobile device.
• Do not use any other email address besides your UNG email as we use this to identify you as a student.
• Do not input your social security number anywhere on the registration page for identification.
• To avoid technical issues, please use any major web browser (e.g., Firefox, Edge, Google Chrome) released within the previous two years.
• It is best to take the course in one sitting versus letting it run in the background and returning to it after long periods of inactivity.
• You may take the course in multiple sittings, but make sure to click on the "next" button after completing a section before logging out. If you do not progress to the next section first, you will have to repeat the previous section. Navigate using Vector’s buttons, not the browser’s buttons.
• The course may include surveys to help personalize your experience and measure students’ attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are confidential; the school will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual student's answers.

• You are unable to move to the next section in the course: Be sure you have completed all steps of the section. You need to click on every card, title, and hyperlink (this includes reference links such as to Georgia laws). Note: Links will automatically open their corresponding page in a new browser tab or window. After you are done reviewing the page “x out” of the extra tab/window and return to the one that contains the Vector training.
• You have successfully completed the AlcoholEdu and Sexual Assault Prevention courses in the past: Download your certificates (sign into Vector, select “Training History,” then “View Certificate”) and send it to Vector@ung.edu. If you do not see your certificate, submit via email the semester you completed the course and at what institution you took it. 
• You have not received the link to take the courses:Emails are sent after the add/drop date.
• Technical problems with the course: Contact Vector through the “Help” link within the course.
• Cannot log in using SSO: Contact the UNG Help Desk.
