Summer Housing Application Process
- The student must apply and be accepted as a residential student to the University of North Georgia (UNG).
- The student must confirm their intent to attend to the Admissions Office.
- Once the confirmation is received in the Admissions Office, the Residence Life Office may access the student's information, including his or her request to be a residential student.
- The Residence Life Office will send housing information (via email) to the residential student's University of North Georgia email account.
- Each student will be given access via the Housing Portal to complete a housing application, roommate selection, and room selection.
- Students who apply for housing will be charged a $150 one-time, nonrefundable housing application fee. The application fee will be added to your student invoice within 7-10 business days and you may pay it with your tuition and fees.
- Please note: If you apply for housing, but decide at a later date you no longer plan on attending the Dahlonega campus and/or living on campus, you are still required to pay this fee.
- Letters will be emailed out approximately 10 days prior to the start of your summer session.
