Move-in Information
Move-in will be by appointment only August 18, 19, and 20. UNG classes begin on August 22. Please check your UNG email the first week in July for the opportunity to sign up for a move-in appointment. Only two cars are permitted per student, and only two guests will be permitted for each student.
UNG Nighthawks ID Card
UNG students must bring their UNG Nighthawks ID card with them to check into the residence halls. New students may pick up their ID card at orientation. Students not attending an in-person orientation may submit their Nighthawks ID photo online at least 3 days prior to their move-in and pick up thier card at move-in.
New student move-in for spring 2023 will occur on Sunday, January 8 from noon - 2 p.m. Students must submit a photo for their UNG Nighthawks Card prior to coming to campus.
Move-In Information
New residents moving into the residence halls for spring semester should receive an e-mail from Residence Life that contains important room and roommate information. This e-mail also includes the day/time for move-in and the building into which you will be checking. Please note that students should not arrive before the assigned move-in time, as they will not be allowed to move-in early.
UNG Nighthawks ID Card
Students must bring their UNG Nighthawks ID card with them to check into the residence halls. Students will not have access to the dining hall without it.
This list provides suggestions from current residents. You do not have to bring all of this, and you may want to contact your roommate in advance and decide what the two of you can share. Remember, there is limited space in the rooms.
