Student Return-to-Campus Checklist
Prior to Coming to Campus
- Review COVID-19 information.
- Check your UNG email for the latest information.
- If you have a health condition and are an at-risk student, learn about possible accommodations.
- Contact Financial Aid or Student Money Management Center if you are having trouble paying your invoice.
- If you are a new student, complete the required COVID-19 student safety training.

Complete the Daily Self-Screening before coming to campus each day.
What to Bring With You
- Face coverings
- Hand sanitizer and wipes
- Hand sanitizer will be available throughout campus too!
- Water Bottle
- Not all water fountains will be on, but refillable bottle stations will be.
Get Tech Ready
- Log in to D2L before your first class.
- You will have access to your courses in D2L beginning Friday, Jan. 8 before classes begin on Monday, Jan. 11. Faculty should have syllabi for all classes and rotation schedules for hybrid classes posted in D2L by that time so that you will know which day to attend class the first week.
- Log in to UNG Connect and review the Tech Checklist for a refresher on all essential systems at UNG.
- Review the Technology & D2L page for more tech tips.
- Log in to Banner to confirm or update your contact information. It is a good idea to verify this each semester to ensure you receive all pertinent information.
Get Ready for Class
- Check go.ung.edu/courses or your Tranguid in Banner to find the instructional method (modality) for your courses.
- Again, Log in to D2L before your first class.
- Let your instructors know in advance if you are in a vulnerable population or live with someone who is so that you can work out necessary accommodations.
