Graduate Studies Faculty Awards

The University of North Georgia (UNG) offers two awards for Graduate Studies: UNG Faculty Award for Excellence in Master’s Student Mentoring and UNG Faculty Award for Excellence in Doctoral Mentoring.

Deadline for Nominations

The award nomination material must be submitted by Monday, April 5, 2027, at 11:59 p.m.

Nomination form will be added when announced.

UNG Faculty Award for Excellence in Master’s Student Mentoring

The UNG Faculty Award for Excellence in Master Mentoring seeks to recognize those who have distinguished themselves through exceptional scholarship, research, creative activities, and noteworthy performance in leadership and service.

This award in Master Mentoring recognizes graduate faculty who provide outstanding support and guidance to their Master students. Winners are selected by a committee from the UNG Graduate Student Senate and Graduate Council and will be recognized at the UNG Annual Faculty Awards ceremony.
