Association of Cadet Chaplains
The Association of Cadet Chaplains was instituted in the fall of 2000 with only one brigade chaplain and has since grown to include a minimum of one chaplain in each company, one chaplain in each battalion, and the brigade chaplain. In 2008, the all volunteer Boar's Head Brigade Association of Cadet Chaplains was constituted and became an official specialty unit on campus.
As a part of the Association of Cadet Chaplains, Cadets can gain valuable experience performing similar duties to active army chaplains while working with trained chaplain and support personnel. Cadets receive training and mentorship from active and retired army chaplains, professional counselors, and UNG's exceptional faculty. Read more about the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps.
The Association of Cadet Chaplains takes on the responsibility of organizing support events such as hosting guest speakers including Army Officers, professional chaplains, POW heroes, athletic coaches, and community Leaders.
