UNG's Testing Centers offer seven different Accuplacer options. Select why you are taking the Accuplacer to find out how to register, how to pay, and where to go for your exam.
The writing component is timed 60 minutes, and the reading and math portions are untimed.
Step One: Check your application status to confirm a placement test is required. Enter your student ID number or Social Security number and date of birth.
Step Two: You will be directed to select a test date via the Placement Test Sign-Up form.
Step Three: You will be automatically routed to our registration webpage. At this time, you must pay the fee of $28 to complete your registration. All testing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Are You a UNG Student, but Unable to Travel to a Testing Center?
If you are a UNG student but are unable to travel to a UNG testing center to complete the Accuplacer, please email ungremotetesting@ung.edu. Our staff will set up your Accuplacer at a different location.
The following will be needed to complete a remote Accuplacer request: Name Student ID Number (900#) Date of Birth Mailing Address Email Address City/State/Zip of desired testing location
A fee of $11.50 must be paid before a remote testing voucher is created. Please allow a 1-2 business day response time to fulfill your request. (NOTE: The institution where you decide to test may require an additional proctor fee.)

If you are attending a non-UNG institution that requires you to complete Accuplacer and you are unable to test there, you will need to contact your institution’s testing center and ask that they generate, for you, a remote voucher.

Your employer may request that you complete Accuplacer testing. You must be sure your employer informs you of which portions you should complete prior to scheduling your appointment.
Retest Policy
All retests are $35.
